Constructor University, formerly known as Jacobs University Bremen, is a private, English-language research university located in Bremen, Germany. Established in 2001, the university was founded with the support of the University of Bremen, Rice University in Houston, Texas, and the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
The university offers interdisciplinary programs across natural sciences, engineering, and social sciences. With a strong emphasis on internationality, over 1,800 students from more than 120 countries currently study on its 34-hectare residential campus.
